Our Breeders
Whiskers and Tails’ Miss Saphira is a blue otter Rex and weighs in at 9.5 lbs. She joined our farm in April of 2023 and had her first litter in October of that same year. She has produced kits weighing 6# and 6# 10 oz at 12 weeks. Their sire was Buck (shown below)
She has a very laid back and loving personality and comes from a long line of show quality stock. There are 39 legs known of between her sire and dam.
Meet the majestic Una. She is a bit of a princess but enjoys getting loves when she deems you worthy.
She was born in late 2022. She has had several litters and is such a good mama. She consistently has larger litters and pulls enough fur for her nests to insulate a small city.
Her dam was a New Zealand REW and her sire is Buck.
Belle is the newest member to join the herd.
She was born in April of 2024 and is a REW Rex. She is the offspring of Saphira and Buck and is our biggest doe weighing 10#.
Her fur is so luxurious and dense. She is on the shy side but is a sweetie and produces nice litters.
Whiskers and Tails’ Buck arrived on the farm in April of 2022. He is a beautiful chocolate otter Rex and weighs 9lb. He has sired many beautiful litters.
He is my stoic guy and keeps his enclosure cleaner than any of the other buns.
He, like Saphira, also hails from a lineage with several legs attributed to his ancestors.
And then there is Gus. He is from the first litter born on the farm. His dam was a New Zealand REW and his sire is a New Zealand chestnut agouti.
He is my curious one. He greets me at the door and has to smell everything before he rubs his chin on it. He is buddies with our cat Pete.
He has also sired some very nice litters. i hope to get more kits with his blocky head and loving personality.
